UCAT Score Calculator (ucatscorecalculator.co.uk) is an independent educational resource built for UK students preparing for the University Clinical Aptitude Test. We build free, practical tools that take the guesswork out of exam preparation, starting with our flagship UCAT Score Calculator, which converts raw practice marks into an estimated scaled score using the same 300–900 per-section methodology as the official test.
We exist because we noticed a gap: students finishing a practice paper had no quick, reliable way to see what their raw mark actually meant on the real UCAT scale, short of manually cross-referencing scattered forum posts and outdated PDFs. We built this site to close that gap with a single, well-maintained, easy-to-use tool.
Our Experience
This site was founded after direct, hands-on involvement supporting UK sixth-form and gap-year students through the UCAT application cycle, including the transition from the pre-2025 four-section format (with Abstract Reasoning) to the current three-section 900–2700 scale. That first-hand exposure to how confusing the scoring conversion is for first-time applicants is what shaped the design of our calculator: simple inputs, an instant scaled-score breakdown, and a plain-English SJT band explanation, rather than a static PDF table that most students skim past.
